The service
MockMark provides independent practice feedback aligned to publicly available music exam criteria. It is not an exam board, does not award qualifications and does not guarantee a future exam result.
Automated assessment
The service uses automated systems to analyse recordings and score pages, infer musical evidence, produce provisional marks and generate feedback. Reports show a confidence range because recordings and automated musical judgement have limits.
Children and purchasers
The purchaser must be 18 or over. Where the performer is under 18, the purchaser must be their parent, guardian or authorised teacher. Do not upload dates of birth, identity documents, addresses or unnecessary personal data.
Recordings and score files
Uploads are private and used to provide the service. Raw recordings and score files are scheduled for deletion after 30 days; generated reports and minimal transaction records may be retained for customer support, accounting and repeat-take comparison. A purchaser may request earlier deletion.
Give to get level-improvement contributions
The separate Give to get beta flow accepts a unique audio-only practice or re-performance recording, score pages, a redacted official result sheet and component marks. The practice recording must have been made separately: it must not have been submitted to an assessment board, recorded during an exam, or created as evidence for a qualification. Because the practice take is not the officially marked performance, the official result is used only as contextual evidence about the performer's level, not as a reference mark for that exact recording. Contributions are retained privately beyond the normal 30-day assessment window to improve and evaluate level-specific feedback. They are not published or used to identify or contact the performer. Exact duplicate recordings, result sheets or matching assessment records do not receive another credit. Each accepted unique contribution creates one single-use credit restricted to the contributor's email. You may request deletion; material already used in aggregate evaluation cannot necessarily be removed from historical metrics.
Your right to upload
You confirm that you made or control the separate practice recording, have a lawful copy of any score pages submitted and have permission from the performer. Upload only the pages needed for assessment. Never submit an official exam recording, an audio extraction from one, anything recorded during the exam, another person's recording, identity documents, contact IDs or unredacted examiner identifiers.
Payment and cancellation
The price is shown before payment. By requesting immediate processing, you acknowledge that the service starts before the normal cancellation period ends. If processing fails and no report can be supplied, the purchaser is entitled to another processing attempt or a refund.
